TME is happy to offer this huge-sounding Cunningham J-35 on consignment! Luthier Jackson Cunningham has quietly cultivated a reputation as one of the leading builders of Gibson-inspired guitars (flattop and archtop); and one strum of this monster will demonstrate why. Even though it's only five years old, this guitar has the loose, easy, woody response of a pre-war instrument, with all the thunder and chimey high-midrange a Gibson aficionado could want.

Aside from a microscopic area of wear on the pickguard, its overall condition is excellent: this is a completely hand-built guitar, with a paper-thin finish, so we're not looking for signs of machined perfection here. Chunky neck carve, in the spirit of the guitars that inspired it. If what moves you about an instrument is old-world craftsmanship and sound that's pure and undoctored, you'll love this guitar. (We're told the wait time for an instrument like this one is approximately two years.) Priced with contemporary hard case. On consignment; shipping calculated at checkout.

Pre-Owned Instruments | Have Questions?
We take great care in accepting only the highest quality pre-owned instruments for resale in our shop, then carefully photograph and describe each instrument to ensure what you see on our site is exactly what you'll receive. Many of these instruments carry subtle signs of handling that can escape even the most discerning eye, so if you have questions about the condition of this instrument, we invite you to call us for an in-hand description. We're always happy to help!
