Rich, smoky-dark sunburst Collings MF5, with a deep, open voice to match. Tortoise binding blends beautifully with the deep red color, the presentation further enhanced by silver Waverly tunes and a James tailpiece. This comes to us second hand, with typical, light playing wear and some slight settling in the thin, lacquer finish. A mature tone, excellent dynamic range, top-shelf hardware, and an understated sophistication make for an enticing, used Collings F style.
