Description

Very clean 2017 Collings D2G ("G" for "German Spruce" top) just into the shop on trade. This guitar has an inviting, stripped-down look (no herringbone top purfling, as you'd typically see on Collings popular rosewood dreadnoughts). The sound, however, is anything but that -- rich, glassy and complex, with the bell-like, crisp high end that keeps flatpickers coming back to Collings guitars. Plenty of power in the low end, and a remarkably delicate, round-sounding midrange, make for a do-it-all dreadnought that sounds just as at-home in a bluegrass jam as it does in a songwriters' round. Excellent condition, priced with its original TKL hard case.
