Stop. The. Press. That's a Collings D1A? Traditional? Vintage Satin? Yes, it's all of those things (also Sinker Mahogany back & sides, by the way), but we've never seen another one that looks like this. About as customized as a D1A-T can get, this firebreather also features the "Vintage Now" neck profile ~ perhaps a hair more mass near the shoulders than the "Traditional" neck profile, but otherwise very similar. While this is technically a used guitar, it remains very clean (there are one or two small dings, and some light marks on the pickguard, but it otherwise appears near mint). All the power, attack, and throttle you could ask of a D1A-T, with arguably better low end. Priced with a Collings vintage-style hard case (yes, the one built by Collings that you can't get anymore).
