This 2012 Santa Cruz H 12-string has just come in for consignment! The "H" body is roughly equivalent to an L-bodied Gibson -- think L-00, but with a wider lower bout, resulting in more low end and power that you'd expect. This platform is a good choice for a 12-string: you can access the depth of tone and fullness desired for 12-string rhythm playing without battling a bulky, jumbo-sized body. This particular guitar sounds lovely, with ample warmth and note body even under the brightness that 12-strings can generate when strummed aggressively.
Condition: this instrument has been played, and should only be owned by a guitarist who values sound over cosmetic perfection. There's a ding on the bass side of the soundhole exposing bare wood, as well as several other scattered top dings produced by pick wear. There are signs of pick wear on the pickguard as well. The back shows visible shirt button scratches and a small imprint from a guitar stand as well. The headstock shows a noticeable ding on its bass side, as well as minor scratching on its veneer. In short? This guitar has been used, and used well! Priced with hardshell case. On consignment; shipping calculated at checkout.
