Wide open, warm, well played in example of Collings' top-shelf A model mandolin.

Proof positive that a great mandolin will, indeed, get better with age, so long as it actually gets played! This well loved MT2 Varnish sounds absolutely wonderful, boasting an enviable openness while still retaining all the quick response and chimey Collings mandolin tone we love.

Originally sold new here, this mandolin comes back to us in very good overall condition, with some light marks and wear to the neck and body, all par the course for a varnish-finished mandolin nearing its first score around the sun. It has a K&K pickup with a Tapastring 1/8" Vintage Jack, and includes both the original case as well as a Colorado Case cover.

Pre-Owned Instruments | Have Questions?
We take great care in accepting only the highest quality pre-owned instruments for resale in our shop, then carefully photograph and describe each instrument to ensure what you see on our site is exactly what you'll receive. Many of these instruments carry subtle signs of handling that can escape even the most discerning eye, so if you have questions about the condition of this instrument, we invite you to call us for an in-hand description. We're always happy to help!
