This Martin Custom Shop 42-style dreadnought features flamed Koa from our hand-picked wood stash; and it's spec'd to pay homage to Martin's limited edition D-42K of years past. We've upgraded the aesthetic with an Ambertone finish, and upgraded the tonewoods with a premium-grade, high-altitude Swiss spruce top.

It's certainly capable of the traditional, booming Martin horsepower (albeit with enhanced clarity), but it also sounds dynamite in alternate tunings played fingerstyle.
