Why We Love This

The first of our all-Koa Martin Customs to arrive is this 12-fret 000 featuring classic style-28 appointments. As with our other recent Custom Shop creations, this guitar features many dimensional similarities to a Standard Series 000-28 (short scale, Modified Low Oval neck). And while those will make it appealing to players after modern playability, the tone is anything but ordinary.

This is a big, bold, and warm sounding guitar, with that woody-yet-sparkly sound we associate with a Koa guitar. And how about that wood! This guitar's Koa has an almost three dimensional shine, which can change dramatically depending how you're looking at it.
