Heritage Prospect Faded Cherry (2003)

$1,750.00

2003 Heritage Prospect in Faded Cherry just in on consignment!

Considered by many to be the "younger sibling" to Heritage's popular 535 model, the Prospect also features semi-hollow/laminate maple construction, short scale, nitro finish, and Duncan humbuckers. The faded cherry finish has that perfect watermelon hue that some of the vintage Gibsons get over time.

In hand, this guitar reminds us quite a bit of the lauded early 80s Gibson ES-335s. Makes sense given the Heritage story - ex-Gibson employees starting their own company after Gibson moved from Kalamazoo. The neck has a really nice slim 60s feel to it - the perfect shape for a semi-hollow in our opinion. The frets are in excellent shape with little if any wear and the setup feels great.

Plugged in, all the punchy and open tones that great semi-hollow body guitars are known for are present. Clean or overdriven, this is an expressive instrument that has the perfect amount of dynamic range and resistance. Dig in or lay back with your picking hand and this guitar is right there with you - like a great 335, right?

This is the perfect guitar for those looking to get into the vibe of a great 335 but want something with a bit more of its own personality (this is an awful lot of guitar for the price also!). Priced with hardshell case.

On consignment, no trades please.
