Collings MF5-O Baked Adirondack Quilted Maple

$8,100.00

Fresh in from NAMM 2017 -- the first Collings mandolin with a torrefied top! This MF5-O features some outrageous quilted maple to go along with the baked Adirondack top. The sound is HUGE and wide open -- everything a player looking for an oval hole mandolin could ever desire. The torrefied top does give this mandolin a much warmer "edge" to the note, which makes is sound just about textbook perfect for tremolo and melody playing up the neck. Give us a call for an in-hand description. Priced with TKL hard case from Collings!
