We sold this mandolin a few months ago; and it's only back with us because the owner decided to move in a different direction musically. It's in virtually new condition, but you will see a couple of miniscule scratches when examining it closely. The original warranty will be honored for the next owner; and given how hard these Northfield Artist models are to come by, we think it'll be a great deal for someone who's serious about acquiring one. Here's what we said in the original listing: "This new Northfield NFA-5V2I in a rare vintage blonde finish just came in along with a 5-bar brother in Sunburst! Developed in conjunction with the great Mike Marshall, the Northfield Artist mandolins are produced in limited numbers and feature unique bracing patterns to maximize the sonic potential of each given set of wood. This particular instrument is a 2-bar model, voiced for a more traditional Bluegrass sound, with a very strong fundamental, cutting high end power and a more focused projection. It's topped with an Italian (high-altitude, think "Adirondack") spruce top, for the ultimate in refined projection. It also features a lovely one-piece maple back and exceptionally flamed maple neck."
