Description

Let's drop all talk about nut width and body comfort! This is an early 1970's Martin D-12-20  and if you're after that classic, folk-rock rhythmic 12-string jangle, be prepared to stretch a little. The playability on this big ol' 12-fret is actually quite good thanks to some excellent repair work done prior to our acquisition. The neck was reset, frets leveled, bridge reshaped and pickguard replaced. Fairly typical work for a Martin of this vintage. All in all, it's a very fine sounding 12-string and attractively priced.

Condition is very good. Crack-free with very little signs of wear or neglect. Finish is nicely crazed and checked from age with a lovely golden patina. Action measures 3/32" and 2/32" with about 1/8" of saddle remaining above the bridge.
