The Custom Shop at Martin has been delivering some seriously excellent guitars lately, and this 28-style OM is no exception. Madagascar rosewood back and sides are combined with a Carpathian spruce top, for an OM with a surprisingly dynamic voice. Martin really has maximized the potential of these less common tonewoods. Carpathian is similar to Adirondack, but is known for being easier to break in and warmer sounding, while Madagascar rosewood is comparable to Indian, but with a notable boost in the high end and projection capacity. Flatpicked or fingerpicked, this guitar rings and resonates beautifully. If you're after a Martin OM with a serious tonal upgrade, consider this one! Priced with hard case.
