Description

If you're new to Scott Heatley's instruments, simply put? Scott is a builder obsessed with design, attention to detail, tone, playability, and consistency of build. These are truly flawless guitars (think Ron Thorn, Damian Probett, etc..not to compare, but that's the level we're talking about here).

Weighing in at 7lbs 3oz, and balancing perfectly, the bolt-neck Beaumont model is simply a joy to play. Constructed from a semi-hollow Western Maple body and mahogany neck (25 1/2" scale), the Beaumont feels really solid and stout in-hand. There's an incredible amount of sustain on tap, and the overall feel is snappy and punchy - almost like a Tele crossed with a Les Paul (this is played acoustically, btw).

The TV Jones Powertrons sound fantastic in this guitar. Punchy, fat midrange, chimey, snappy top end, hotter output... We couldn't pull a bad sound of of this guitar, truth be told. These pickups are a perfect match for this guitar, making it quite versatile.

It's hard to overstate the depth of the sparkle finish on the top (Scott's sparkle finishes might be the best we've ever seen) - it's really, really beautiful with tons of movement. While the body is a gloss finish, Scott opted for a satin finish on the mahogany neck which is such a cool / smart choice as it creates an immediate connection with the player - it makes the neck feel broken in from the word go.

What can we say? These are brilliant guitars that are definitely worthy of your consideration - look closely at the pictures and you'll see gorgeous details throughout. Masterful stuff here, folks.

Priced with hardshell case.
