Description

Feast your eyes on this!

Another amazing Honeycaster has graced our presence, this time with some undoubtedly unique features and specs. We love Laurent for his incredible acoustic guitar builds, and he's recently been building more electrics with the same level of craftsmanship, quality, and attention to detail that made us fall in love with his work in the first place.

This used Honeycaster hails from 2012 but looks like it fell out of the back of Ry Cooder's guitar trailer some 30 years ago. Laurent has embodied the spirit of a vintage strat and combined it with a modern build aesthetic and a "hot rod" vibe that make this a truly versatile and inspiring instrument. The dual Seymour Duncan humbucker configuration opens up some expanded tonal possibilities not often associated with this style guitar, and the coil tap switch provides some familiar single coil snap and clarity to enhance this guitar's versatility. These pickups do clean, dirty, filthy, and all shades in between with ease.

Laurent's impeccable neck work shines through here, providing effortless playability and comfort with a well executed soft V profile. The bound rosewood fingerboard adds that extra touch of class that plays very well against the custom green matching headstock.

We've identified some minor nicks and blemishes in the finish and general light to moderate play wear throughout, as to be expected for an 8 year old instrument. However, the frets are in great shape and the playability is still top notch.

The custom made pickguard may be the best indicator of what this guitar is all about- finesse and elegance, ferocity and power. Spend one minute with this guitar and you'll know what we're talking about.

Price includes hardshell case.
