Martin D-45 Custom Cocobolo

We've said it before, but .... STOP. THE. PRESSES. Wow! We've been waiting nearly a year for this guitar, and whatever words we conjure up here won't come close to doing it justice. Martin brought the amazingly figured Cocobolo you see on this guitar to the last NAMM show, and we knew right away there was only one option: a D-45. If you've followed our custom shop builds over the last few years, this guitar will be recognizably "TME" -- figured wood bindings against abalone purflings. The sound of this one leaves nothing on the table. Cocobolo's density is known for making great strumming guitars, but this one feels somehow lighter than it should; and it responds perfectly to a fingerstyle attack as well. Whether you fancy yourself a Jimmy Martin disciple or a student of Neil Young ... if you've been waiting for a smashing D-45 that will dazzle anyone who hears it, wait no more. Priced with hard case from Martin!
