Martin D-35 (1965)

This beautiful-sounding first-year Martin D-35 is a great value for anyone interested in collectible vintage guitars -- or someone looking for a Brazilian Rosewood Martin dreadnought that's a bit closer to the scalloped-braced sound without wading into 1940's price territory. It bears repeating -- this is a fantastic-sounding guitar for this price point, and fulfills the D-35 promise of more bass and an easier response. It's in excellent condition for its age, crack free and sporting its original finish. Recent neck reset, regret and setup by Matt Arcara. It's had a bridge reglue at some point in the past, and a cleat has been added underneath the pickguard (though no signs of the ubiquitous pickguard crack are present). Priced with modern Martin hard case.
