Martin 00-21 (1940)

Sold

Description

This player-grade 1940 Martin 00-21 would be an excellent choice for anyone interested in adding a 12-fret guitar to their collection; and it's also a great gateway for anyone interested in entering the territory of Red Spruce-topped, scalloped-braced vintage Martins. There's significant playwear across the guitar's surfaces, but nothing particularly unsightly. Several top cracks have been glued and cleated internally. The previous owner sent the guitar to the Martin factory, where it was given a neck reset, new bridge and new fingerboard. All this said, it's a lovely sounding guitar, with a warm, full voice and plenty of headroom for a flatpicker interested in a small-bodied guitar. Priced with contemporary hard case.

On consignment.
