Description

Very sweet and punchy (and LOUD) little Martin 00-18 from 1949. Mahogany back & sides, Sitka Spruce top, Brazilian Rosewood bridge and fingerboard, 1 11/16" nut width. The tapered bracing gives this guitar a lot of snap, and it's a perfect all-around guitar whether you're sitting in your kitchen or a jam circle. Now, of course, it's not going to compete with a dreadnought for low end, but the highs are very rich and woody-sounding, with plenty of fullness across the mids as well. The guitar is in excellent overall condition, with all its original parts and good saddle height showing. One repaired top crack. Priced with contemporary hard case.
