Duesenberg are known for making innovative, Art Deco-inspired instruments that have attracted a star-studded list of users: Mike Campbell, Joe Walsh, Chris Cornell, John Mayer, Billy Gibbons, Jason Isbell, Ron Wood, and Boston's own Jeff Darosa (Dropkick Murphy's) to name but a few. While they make quite a few different models, the Starplayer is one of the more popular models they offer.

The Starplayer TV is a semi-hollow, dual pickup, 22 fret guitar that features an arched spruce top and bent maple back and sides. Paired with Duesenberg's own hardware and pickups - a GrandVintage bridge pickup and a Domino P90 in the neck - the Starplayer is capable of a wide range of tones. In the middle position, there's a cool wiring feature that splits certain frequencies out of the humbucker signal. Basically, this means the middle position tones never get too boomy or tubby - a feature we really love.

The setup and playability are excellent. The D shaped, one-piece maple neck feels fantastic in hand and measures .8" @ the 1st fret and .95" @ the 12th. Combined with a 12" radius, the overall feel is slinky, fast, and sleek. The Deluxe Tremola works really well and adds to the fun.

Condition: Excellent. Minor finish scuffing on the back along with a few small indentations, very minor fret wear. The setup feels great.

Players looking for classic rock n roll looks and tones in a well crafted, unique instrument will find lots to love with this Starplayer TV. Check it out! Priced with hardshell case.
