Description

"Every day we try to make a better guitar, every day. You're trying to reach for more, trying to do better, not trying to do the same. A lot of companies are trying to do the same, and that's okay - that's their deal. We're trying to stretch that. Our goal is a little more." - Bill Collings

A 2017 SoCo LC in classic blonde? Game over.

If you're even remotely a fan of semi-hollow guitars, you really owe it to yourself to check this gently used 2017 SoCo out. It's got everything you love about this classic model - beautiful & classic looks, versatility, and killer tones - but with a radically elevated build quality level. It never ceases to amaze us how consistent Collings guitars are, especially the level they're building them.

Every aspect of this guitar showcases painstaking detail - ultra clean binding work, fretwork, a gorgeous, laminate flamed maple body, lightweight, balances perfectly...the list is endless. And of course the Lollar low-wind humbuckers sound incredible. Think PAF with clarity and a sweet, slightly modern top-end response.

Condition: Excellent. Very light surface scratches scattered on the body, most very faint, the worst being one surface scratch on the back (not deep and could likely be buffed out) and on the pickguard. Frets are almost like-new with extremely light wear forming. The neck is smooth with no dings. The setup is great - nice low action w/10s, and all electronics work as they should.

Simply put, this is the semi-hollow guitar perfected. Priced with original hardshell case.
