Collings AT-16 Deluxe Cutaway (2014)

The Collings AT-16 is widely recognized as one of modern lutherie's finest acoustic archtop -- and many would call it the most sought-after acoustic archtop in the contemporary boutique guitar niche. We are proud to offer this 2014 "Deluxe" variant of the AT-16 ~ one of only two ever produced (this one was made to exhibit at the NAMM show when Collings added the Deluxe appointment level to their archtop product line). The 16" lower bout sits beautifully in the player's lap, yielding a crisp, balanced tone with the woody midrange snap required by acoustic guitarists soloing in a jazz ensemble. Aside from the sensationally figured tonewoods, the AT-16 Deluxe features a cutaway, natural "Blonde" finish and triple bound body, neck & peghead for a timeless, metropolitan look. This guitar's overall condition is near-mint: while it's been played lovingly, the original owner has babied it and it presents as showroom-new. Priced with its original Calton Case, we're hosting it on consignment.
