BJFE Custom Shop Sparkling Yellow Overdrive v1 (Used)

Bjorn Juhl is the mastermind behind Swedish-based BJFE pedals and we're really excited to have just taken in a batch of his highly lauded, hand-wired pedals. Most will recognize the Mad Professor brand....Bjorn designed these products but didn't make them himself.

The Sparkling Yellow OD (1st version) is an incredibly open and dynamic overdrive pedal, capable of even dipping into distortion territory with ease. Anything from slight breakup (is this thing on?) to EVH approved grind is on tap via a twist of the drive knob. What's most remarkable about this pedal is just how dynamic it is - this is the type of pedal that melds with your guitar/amp rig to the degree that it responds like a great, cranked tube amp.

The SYOD has a gorgeous midrange that never gets overbearing, it just adds girth and would certainly help you cut through the mix without getting into volume wars with you bandmates. As the name implies, it also has a chimey, sparkly top-end response which works great for humbuckers and can be dialed back for single coil equipped guitars. A phenomenal light to medium overdrive to be sure!

**Pedal only, no box or paperwork included.
