BJFE Silver Lawn (Used)

Bjorn Juhl is the mastermind behind Swedish-based BJFE pedals and we're really excited to have just taken in a batch of his highly lauded, hand-wired pedals. Most will recognize the Mad Professor brand....Bjorn designed these products but didn't make them himself.

The Silver Lawn was inspired by the legendary Klon Centaur overdrive, but to our ears, it takes that tone and really expands on it. What exactly is that tone you ask? In a nutshell, think tube screamer. Accentuated midrange, smooth overdrive, etc...

Where the Klon excels as a boost and not so much as an actual overdrive (they tend to get very compressed and midrangy to the point of sounded constricted), the Silver Lawn has the ability to deliver the same low-gain/boosted mids that'll help you stand out in a mix, the overdrive section is far more useable. The gain isn't quite as smooth and compressed which opens up the Silver Lawn to more applications (in our opinion).

We really loved what this pedal brought to any guitar/amp combo we tossed its way. And let's face it, who wants to drop $2K on a Klon when pedals like this Silver Lawn deliver the same goods...and then some? The choice is clear to us.
