Description

This rare version of the C.F. Martin Style ā€œCā€ mandolin was made for three years from 1917-1920. During this period, the style ā€œDā€ the marquetry inlaid top was replaced by pearl (Style "C" marquetry was reintroduced by 1921). This 1919 model also features a pearl rosette, and makes for an attractive-looking mandolin suitable for Celtic and classical styles of playing. Excellent condition, with original hard shell case.
