Thorn Artisan Limited Series 4 (2016)

This Limited Series 4 is a perfect example of what makes Ron's guitars so sought after - flawless build quality, killer tones, effortless playability, and the attention to detail is incredible. For example, note the how the gorgeous tortoise pickguard is echoed in the tortoise binding, sterling silver rimmed tortoise fingerboard inlays, and tortoise inlayed Thorn "T" logo on the headstock. The snakewood tuner buttons are a nice, subtle touch that matches the brown in the tortoise beautifully.

Gorgeous looks aside, fans of Ron's work will know exactly what makes this guitar so special - the Thorn GT-90 staple top pickups. Many feel these are some of, if not the, best P90s on the market. We'll leave that argument for another day. What we can say is this guitar, and Ron's GT-90s, sound absolutely incredible. The ability to deliver gorgeous, chimey clean tones one minute and searing, mid-drenched rock n roll snarl when overdriven is just staggering.

Dynamic, alive, soulful....just an exceptional spin on the classic double cutaway, dual P90 guitar. If LP Juniors or Specials always left you wanting for something more refined without giving up the rock n roll attitude, this is your guitar. Incredible in every way! Priced with original hardshell case.
