Gibson ES-175 Figured Natural (2002)

Gorgeous 2002 ES-175 in on consignment!

One of (if not the) most popular jazz guitars of all time, the workhorse ES-175 is lauded for it's tone, playability, and build quality. The wide range of players that have called on the 175 are certainly a testament to its musicality - Joe Pass, Pat Metheny, Kenny Burrell, Steve Howe...the list goes on and on.

The figured maple top on this gorgeous 2002 model adds an undeniable beauty and deviates from the sunburst finish we've come to expect on this model. Its an easy playing/slinky feeling guitar. Definitely not the kind of archtop you'll find yourself struggling to play.

The tones are exactly what you'd expect from this model. Acoustically it's quite loud and has beautiful snappiness to it - notes tend to jump out without much effort. Plugged in, it's warm-yet-articulate...the classic jazz tone, period.

Condition: Excellent, with very few signs of prior ownership. There are pick swirls on the pickguard and the frets are close to new.

Simply put, this is a really fun, easy playing - and gorgeous - example of a classic. Priced with hardshell case.

On consignment, no trades please.
