Grosh ElectraJet Candy Apple Red (2015)

"The vision was clear—to build hand-crafted custom guitars with the best tone, looks and playability available, and to build them from the from the ground up, from original design and concept to full production of the necks and bodies." - Don Grosh

This gently used 2015 Candy Apple Electrajet just in!

The Grosh ElectraJet is a truly a modern classic. The first thing you notice when sitting down to play an Electrajet is how well it balances. While the design borrows from Fenders offset models, the Electrajet is definitely it's own thing. More modern than a Fender offset, there's also an unmistakable Strat element that we can't quite put our finger on (to underscore that point, Mark Knopfler owns and plays Electrajets in addition to his ever-present Strats).

The neck on this particular guitar is a bit chunkier than other Electrajets we've had, though it's far from what we'd consider a 50s style - more of a fat 60s carve. Don's medium/roundback carve is his most popular carve and we certainly understand why. There's a really nice "just right" quality to its shape that we feel most players would instantly bond with.

This is a brilliant gigging and recording guitar that can conjure up thoughts of a fuller Strat, fat Tele-esq tones, all the way through P90 growl - though this isn't a Gibson P90 sound, it's much more refined. Unlike a lot of trem-equipped guitars, the trem on this Electrajet is extremely usable and stays in tune perfectly. The playability is second to none - just a fantastic guitar all around!

As mentioned, players like Mark Knopfler have Electrajets in their collections. Need we say more? Priced with original hardshell case.
