From Fender...

"The 2016 Postmodern Tele is elegantly designed with a reappraisal of modern assumptions. A time-honored classic crafted with six decades of "Fender firsts", it has a lightweight ash body with a comfortable cutaway heel, a tinted quartersawn maple neck with a finely sculpted mid-60s "Oval C" profile and Heavy Relic back finish, a fast compound-radius (9.5"-12") fingerboard with a bone nut and 21 narrow jumbo frets, two hand-wound Twisted Tele pickups with 3-way switching, and modern wiring with Greasebucket tone circuit, which rolls off highs without reducing gain."

We found this ash bodied Postmodern Tele to be a blast to play. It's a guitar that embodies everything we love about a great 50's vibe Tele - a loud, open, resonant acoustic voice, lightweight/balanced, slinky playing feel, and bright but not harsh amplified tones.

Condition: Aside from some light fret wear, the guitar appears to be as it left the Fender factory (with regards to any wear - it's a relic). The guitar is setup great and all electronics work as they should.

All in all, a fantastic Tele for players who appreciate the past but don't mind bringing things into the modern era. Priced with hardshell case (no CoA, though Fender confirmed they can provide one for a small fee).
