Echopark The '62

“I love Juniors, Teles, some of the Supros and Hagstrums and definitely old Gretches!  Those elements combined to create my overall inspiration.  The main thing that I wanted to do was to figure out how to make an improved one from start to finish 100% by hand.  I want to use my hands, eyes and ears to select and build every part of every instrument.  That was the driving force in the idea behind doing this!” - Gabriel Currie

Our latest Echopark, The '62, is the first Strat-style guitar we've gotten from Gabriel Currie and it's a stunning guitar! While definitely a Strat at heart, there are some key differences that help give it its own personality.

One area where the '62 carves its own path is the Ash body / Korina neck combo. The Ash/Korina combo delivers killer Strat cluck and chime, but there's an added bite and richness to the tone that other Strats don't possess. It's hard to put a finger on, but you can definitely feel and hear the difference. This is a very lively, resonant guitar with beautiful tones, feel, and playability.

The overall build quality is excellent as is the D carved neck on this '62. A fat-Gibson-esq carve with excellent fret work that yields a very fast, comfortable, slinky feel. This is one of those guitars that you find yourself playing and not realizing a half an hour just passed. This might easily be one of our favorite guitars from Echopark! Priced with hardshell case.
