Description

It was a nearly-three-year wait for this guitar, which we re-ordered after seeing its inspiration at NAMM 2017 where it dazzled everyone who saw it. This jaw-dropping Collings City Limits Jazz is made from reserve-stock flamed mahogany. That bears repeating, since some folks who saw early photos of it thought it was maple: the body and neck of this guitar are flamed mahogany (aka "WOW" mahogany as a favorite customer put it). This CL Jazz deserves a unique place in the model's history: we've never seen one with wood so incredibly beautiful ~ and in a light tangerine burst which allows the figure of the raw material to dance before your eyes. Incredibly versatile, this CL Jazz truly sounds as great as it looks, whether comped, chorded, fingerpicked or played with a heavy jazz pick. We're lucky to have this beauty in the shop! Priced with hard case by Ameritage.

Retail price $10,750.00. Media sample reflects a previously sold CL Jazz, played by Collings artist Jim Kelly.
