"My passion for restoring and building instruments began in 1982. I have worked for numerous artists who have shaped and inspired the guitars I build today. My designs offer the revered tones and iconic vibe found in great vintage instruments, coupled with refined solid construction, boutique electronics and custom feel." - Bill Asher

Our latest Asher Hollow T-Deluxe is a really striking, versatile, and all-around killer T-Style guitar! If you haven't had a chance to play one of Bill's T-Deluxe models, you're in for a treat. The more we play this guitar the more blown away we are with just how many styles we can cover with it.

The combination of a semi-hollow Korina body and Korina neck, Redwood top, Asher/Novak humbuckers, Asher "chopped" T-style bridge, and 6 position Varitone circuit yields an astounding amount of tones, almost as if you mixed a great LP, Tele, Gretsch, and ES-330 together. That said, this guitar very much has its own vibe and sound which, in our opinion, is exactly what enables it to cover so much familiar ground (the aforementioned models serving as a reference point).

One of our favorite things about this T-Deluxe is the feel - it's incredibly lightweight (6.25 lbs!), snappy, responsive, and alive. If you're seeking a slinky feeling, easy to play guitar with an awesome fat neck carve (slightly V shaped), look no further. The playability is simply exceptional.

We were able to cover anything from hard rock to jazz with this beauty. The real secret to this guitar's versatility is the 6 position Varitone (think wah pedal w/6 positions ranging from completely off to the "heel down" position). With it, you can easily achieve notched tones a la Mick Ronson to faux archtop tones to anything you desire based on the amp/pickup switch position. Very cool indeed.

We could go on, but suffice it to say that this guitar would be an ideal candidate for players who are looking to carry one guitar to the gig/rehearsal/session, or, players who want to add something more unique to their collection. Priced with G&G hardshell case.
