Beautiful, ornately crafted Epiphone Deluxe "Masterbilt" from 1933 just in for consignment! Epiphone Deluxe archtops from this era, in this sort of condition, are a rarity indeed; and their sound and craftsmanship can rival the L5s produced at the same time (many players may even prefer the Epiphone for its relative funkiness and flair). This instrument has been played heavily during its lifetime, but remains in very good condition: the structure is perfect and 100% solid, though the original pickguard has been replaced and a Kent Armstrong pickup added long ago. This is a lively and great-sounding acoustic archtop for players seeking a 16" guitar that can stand toe to toe with the best of the best, built during the golden era of guitar production.
