Description

Looking for a slope-shouldered dread with a penetrating, crisp sound well suited to both lead flat picking and fingerstyle vocal accompaniment? We've got your guitar! This Collings pre-owned Collings CJ (made in 2007) features Mahogany back & sides, and Adirondack Spruce top and -- most importantly -- a varnish finish (as opposed to the standard lacquer). If you've played a Collings varnish guitar, you'll immediately recognize the improved openness of tone, low end rumble and clarity of response present in this guitar. It's been played a lot over the last 12 years; and while not showroom mint, it presents beautifully (after all, that soft varnish finish is a little more susceptible to imprinting). See the photo gallery for reference images. Priced with its original hard case!
