Martin 00-21 (1928)

Lovely-sounding 1928 Martin 00-21 just into the shop! This guitar is original but for its replacement bridge (by New Hampshire's Jack O'Brien), and it's crack-free. The original bridgeplate is still intact, but exhibits two plugged holes from a previously bolted-on bridge (hence the current replacement). The guitar plays very well, whether flatpicked or fingerpicked, and has a gorgeous, woody sound with plenty of sparkle in the high end. This would be a great guitar for a traditional flatpicker in the style of Norman Blake, and it takes a thumbpick very well. Priced with contemporary Martin HSC.
