Description

We've been getting lots of call for great vintage 00s recently; and if you're in the market, you'll do no finer than this 1945 Martin 00-18. This is an all-original guitar that's been played hard (dig the buckle rash!), which usually means ~ great tone. No exceptions here. Hugely resonant and responsive, with terrific power for a 00, this is a true do-it-all guitar. Fingerpicked, it's got the direct woody sound we associate with so many classic Dylan recordings. Strummed and flatpicked, it's punchy and crisp without being cloying in the slightest. This is a fairly-early 1945 guitar, featuring Red Spruce top, Mahogany back & sides, Brazilian Rosewood bridge & fingerboard, tapered bracing and ebony neck rod. It's light as air, and has elicited huge grins from everyone who's picked it up thus far. A guitar whose tone and response seems totally uninhibited. Priced with vintage hard case.
