Product information

Engelmann Spruce provides an immediate response, and a lush, round tone, for players with a delicate attack.

This 00-14 from the Martin Custom Shop features Mahogany back and sides, Maple binding, and, most significantly, a stunning bearclaw Engelmann Spruce top. Engelmann, the softest of the Spruces used for guitarmaking, provides an immediate response, and a lush, round tone, for players with a delicate attack.

This may not be the guitar you want to play like a bluegrasser; but for players who combine fingerstyle and measured flatpick approaches -- this is a wonderful sounding instrument that's super-comfortable to play. Priced with 3-ply hardshell case from Martin.
