Pete Cornish SS-2 (Used)

We're thrilled to have recently taken in a batch of used Pete Cornish pedals!

For those new to this legendary effects wizard, let's just say Pete is the man all the pros turn to. We don't mean said pros pose in magazine ads holding his pedals and that's that, Pete designs and builds the touring pedalboards for...ready for it? Jimmy Page, David Gilmour, Brian May, Mark Knopfler, Robert Fripp, Steve Hacket, Andy Summers, Chrissie Hynde, Robbie McIntosh, Tony goes on and on. You get the idea. These are serious, pro-level pedals.

Quite possibly our favorite of the Cornish pedals we took in, this pedal sounds phenomenal, period. Killer break-up/gain, great articulation and feel. This pedal feels more like a great amp than it does a pedal. Truthfully, that right there is what makes all Cornish pedals really special. These pedals are instruments in and of themselves. Slight rhythmic breakup through searing Gilmour-approved lead tones are on tap and boy are they a blast to explore. Here's the official description from Pete's website:

"Totally different from any overdrive/distortion effect that has ever been previously available; it is amazingly response to changes in both guitar volume and picking articulation. It has the best "bottom end retention" ever heard in an effect, whilst the midrange is sweet and very transparent. The SS-2 retains all the tonal nuances of your guitar and is subtle and yet capable of amazing power and sustain. Using the SS-2 with a clean amp it is possible to progress from subtle overdriven amp sounds, through rhythmic crunch, up to blues lead. The tonal characteristics and dynamics of the guitar are maintained even when using this pedal at its maximum gain."

Looking for the best of the best? Give this a shot, you won't be disappointed.
