Swope GTO Ice Blue Metallic

Sold

"The challenge is not to be different, but to be different and great sounding.  To be unique, yet still have so much of what makes those classics classic." ~ Chris Swope

We are simply knocked out by this new, very subtly aged, Ice Blue Metallic Swope GTO. Like its cousin the MG, the GTO has plenty of twang and snap on-hand though this time with S-style body contours. The fit, finish, and playability are exactly what you'd expect for a builder who's logged many years working for Gibson's Custom Shop and legendary builder, Roger Sadowsky. The neck carve is reminiscent of a 60s Fender carve and simply feels great to play. The pickups, however, are where this guitar really shows its unique character. To our ears, it's a perfect marriage of Jazzmaster-meets-Tele-meets-PAF humbucker tones - lots of versatility on tap. If you're looking to stand out from the crowd, reduce the number of guitars you have to bring to the gig (this guitar is brilliant in trio settings), or simply want to treat yourself to something new and original...look no further. An outstanding guitar in every regard! Priced with hardshell case.
