Knaggs Kenai T2 (2016)

Fans of PRS guitars will likely recognize the name Joe Knaggs and if not, they'll certainly recognize his designs. For 25 years, Joe designed and built award-winning guitars for Paul Reed Smith and even worked as their director of R&D and Private Stock guitars. This is the first Knaggs guitar we've had in the shop and it lives up to its reputation to be sure!

Given Joe's background, it's no surprise that this killer Kanai T2 shares a lot in common with the Private Stock PRS guitars - stunning tone woods, flawless build quality and playability, awesome tones...there's a lot to like about this guitar!

As mentioned, this guitar reminds us a lot of a Private Stock level guitar but Knaggs do have their own feel and personality. It's extremely resonant and loud when played unamplified, and fat, articulate, and punchy when plugged in. Given it's tonal recipe (maple cap/mahogany body and neck, short scale, humbuckers) it's surprisingly snappy with a Fender-lke top end. You could easily cover a wide range of styles with this guitar.

Condition: Near mint, no issues - no fret wear, breaks, dings, or damage. Only like pick swirling and pick swirl-like marks on the back (very light).

If you're a PRS fan looking to add a Private Stock level guitar to your collection without the Private Stock price point or wait, this guitar should definitely be at the top of your list! Priced with hardshell case.

On consignment, no trades please.
