Gretsch G6196TSP Country Club Grey (2015)

$2,700.00

Is there a cooler looking guitar than a Gretsch? We'll leave that debate for another time... Just in on consignment is a killer 2015 Gretsch County Club!

This is a Japanese made Gretsch and the build quality is flawless. Although used, it's in mint condition - no evidence of prior ownership is present (there's one hairline crack on the pickguard due to an over-tightened screw. It's totally stable and isn't all the way through the guard. Looks like it was over-tightened at the factory). The setup is perfect and the Bigsby works flawlessly - this is really a great playing guitar with the perfect action. The C-carve neck feels great - certainly not a fat neck carve, but not too thin either.

Strummed acoustically, that classic Gretsch punch is here in spades making this the perfect "unplugged/couch guitar". Plugged in, the DynaSonic pickups sound incredible. Chime, mid-range snarl, gorgeous clarity...that classic tone that you'd expect from a Grestch (looking at you Brian Setzer fans). As mentioned, the Bigsby works incredibly well which makes this guitar a blast to play. Crank your amp and reverb, grab the whammy bar...total blast!

Simply a great example of what Gretsch guitars are all about with looks to spare! Priced with hardshell case.
