Analogman 'Juicer' Compressor (Used)

$135.00

The Analogman Juicer Compressor is a 100% original recreation of the Dan Armstrong Orange Squeezer circuit and sound. Even if you've never heard of an Orange Squeezer, you've certainly heard the sound of one - think "My Old School" by Steely Dan or the Dire Straits track, "Sultans of Swing" (that is arguably the Orange Squeezer tone at its best).

We love what a compressor can do to your tone, especially if you play slide or record. The Juicer can mimic the "sag" a great tube amp creates when pushed hard. There's a warmth and grit to the tone that's really addictive. Some even replace a traditional boost pedal (like a Klon) with the Juicer as they cover similar ground. Run into other overdrives? We dare you not to grin from ear to ear.

Condition: Some wear on the face of the pedal. 100% functional. No original box or paperwork - pedal only.

  • 100% original (not WD reissue) Dan Armstrong O.S. circuit and sound.
  • Fabulous to use as a stacking pedal into OD or DIST pedals for added coolness in tone!
  • Built into the smaller box as shown on the right.
  • True Bypass with 3PDT switch
  • LED
  • NOS 2N5457 transistors, germanium diodes, and JRC4558D op-amp chip
  • Expensive high quality Matsushita/Panasonic capacitors
  • Power jack standard in 2014, still works fine with a battery.
  • Do not share power or you may have noise from the power supply.
  • UK made RE'AN jacks for best noise isolation and operation.
  • Durable Orange Powder-Coated finish with Orange peel texture
  • Small box 2.5" x 4.75" x 1.5" not including jacks, switch, etc
  • One knob, external volume knob (original orange squeezer had a volume trim pot inside)

  • The Bias trim pot is inside, as it does not need adjustment once it is set right.
