"The vision was clear—to build hand-crafted custom guitars with the best tone, looks and playability available, and to build them from the from the ground up, from original design and concept to full production of the necks and bodies." - Don Grosh

The first NOS T we've gotten from Don Grosh in quite some time didn't even last long enough to get on the site! Just a stunning, rare guitar that capped off our run of early-60s inspired F-style guitars (see: Fiesta Red and Seafoam Green NOS S on our site). A lucky buyer just happened to be in the shop the day this arrived and snatched it up but we had to share this beauty with you - we'll be re-ordering this again, worry not!

We're huge fans of having more forward-thinking builders like Don working their magic within a more visually traditional format - hence the double-bound, 59 Burst look. Modern touches include locking tuners, 10" radius, semi-"chopped" Tele bridge, and 6150 frets. This is guitar is perfect for players who demand the highest level of build quality but don't want to sacrifice that feel and soul that makes vintage guitars so great. Best of both worlds? We sure thought so.

First impressions? Lightweight, snappy, a glorious satin finished neck (Large Roundback), and a slightly refined tone plugged in. Imagine recording a stellar example of a vintage Tele with a great amp, mic, preamp, and then hitting with an 1176 compressor - i.e., smooth, fat, warm, yet still twangy. What's not to like, right? No ice-pick Tele tones to be found here.

This was just an incredible guitar by any measure. As mentioned, we'll certainly be putting more of these on order. Let us know if you'd like to claim one of these beauties for yourself! As spec'd, this one came in at $3899 which includes a deluxe hardshell case.
