Fender Eric Clapton Stratocaster 7-Up Green (1989)

Sold

Very cool 1989 Clapton signature model in the rare 7-Up Green just in!

Essentially a '57 reissue, this second year Clapton signature model features a few tweaks that have made this model legendary among Slowhand fans - namely, the gold Lace Sensor pickups paired with an active MDX mid-boost circuit with 25db of gain. Huge range of tones on tap and with the right amp settings, you're immediately able to cop 80s-2000s Clapton tones.

Condition: Very Good. (In truth, this guitar is in great shape where it counts, there are just some typical signs of use wear - it is from 1989 after all). There are a few indentations, surface swirls, and light buckle rash on the back of the body. All body paint is intact with no chips. The neck shows some light worming behind the 7th-9th frets (on the back) but we didn't feel it when playing, only when running our thumb up and down the back of the neck. The frets only show the faintest wear and are in great shape. All electronics work perfectly and the setup is great.

Clapton fans, this is a no-brainer. Fender collectors looking to flesh out your collection? Same. We're not going to lie, this is a great Strat and we had a lot of fun playing Clapton riffs on it! Priced with original hardshell case.

On consignment, no trades please.
