Echopark Case Study La Carne Custom Koa

“I love Juniors, Teles, some of the Supros and Hagstrums and definitely old Gretches!  Those elements combined to create my overall inspiration.  The main thing that I wanted to do was to figure out how to make an improved one from start to finish 100% by hand.  I want to use my hands, eyes and ears to select and build every part of every instrument.  That was the driving force in the idea behind doing this!” - Gabriel Currie

If we had to sum up Echopark guitars in a word? Vibe. Gabriel Currie's guitars evoke a "Now where have I seen that before?" feeling while also presenting you with something entirely new and fresh. His Case Study guitars take this concept to the next level and are his top-of-the-line instruments. Each unique, each constructed over the course of one year.

Like all Echopark guitars, this guitar is extremely resonant and feels great in your hands (Gabriel's neck carves are one of our favorite aspects of his instruments). The unique Echotron + pickups not only look beautiful with their tortoise nitrate tops, they really sound incredible. The perfect blend of Les Paul punch and power, but with the more complex chime of a great Gretsch Filter'Tron. Whether you like playing clean, slightly overdriven, or with full-tilt gain, you'll love the nuance these pickups have to offer - they really do cover a wide range of genres.

As with other Case Study guitars, you can tell this guitar had extra love, care, and attention paid during the build. The result is an incredible feeling guitar with tons of vibe and tone. It makes you want to plug in, crank your amp, and run through every riff you can think of. Yes please! Priced with hardshell case.
