"We wanted to create an instrument that would be versatile enough for players who use a pick, and for players who are finger stylists. It needed to be superior in terms of playability, and it had to be gimmick free. It had to be lightweight, comfortable and unique." -Avi @ B&G Guitars
Quick backstory: This Private Build Little Sister met an overzealous Custom's agent on its travels from Israel to Boston. There is zero structural damage or breaks whatsoever, the light damage is purely cosmetic - even then, you have to look for it. It looks like a gently used guitar and all damage is captured in the pics - two scuffs in the natural "binding", a small indentation in the top and on the fretboard, and a minor indentation or two on the back plate. Otherwise, this is a wonderful opportunity to own one of these lauded beauties at a slight price break. Believe us, it sounds worse than it is and plays as great as any of the others we've had, we just can't sell this guitar as new given these bumps and bruises.
This P90 equipped, cutaway version features a beautiful maple top with an African mahogany body. These short-scale beauties seek to capture the essence of the delta blues, and they do so masterfully. It's an impeccably made instrument - the fit and finish are world-class and it is simply a joy to play. Fans of large neck carves will love this neck - full, yet very comfortable as the shoulders are perfectly rounded to fill your hand.
Tonally, this guitar lives up to its blues-based inspiration - full, throaty tones that remain well defined and articulate even at higher gain levels are hallmarks of these P90s (this guitar is amazing for slide playing - though don't be fooled into thinking it's only for slide). The set-up is perfect. The low action makes this guitar a breeze to play.
Simply put, we love this unique design and think you will as well! Priced with B&G hardshell case.
