Asher Hollow T-Deluxe Master Series

$5,200.00

"My passion for restoring and building instruments began in 1982. I have worked for numerous artists who have shaped and inspired the guitars I build today. My designs offer the revered tones and iconic vibe found in great vintage instruments, coupled with refined solid construction, boutique electronics and custom feel." - Bill Asher

We're thrilled to have a new Master Series instrument from California based luthier, Bill Asher in the shop!

Bill pulled no punches with this gorgeous Hollow T-Deluxe's appointments. The body is made from Honduran Mahogany dating from the 1970's coupled with a stunning Honduran rosewood top that's very tastefully accented by half herringbone/half ivoroid trim. Snakewood tuner buttons on open-back Waverly tuners, Ebony knobs, Callaham hardtail bridge, and a Demeter mid-boost circuit round out the deluxe features on this incredibly resonant, lively Burstbucker equipped guitar (dig the ivoroid covers and Madagascar Rosewood pickup rings). Whew!

One of our favorite things about Bill's guitars is his super comfortable, chunky V-shaped neck carve. It's almost '56 Strat-like and most importantly, never fatiguing. The setup is wonderful with medium, slinky action.

Plugged in, the Burstbucker pickups deliver powerful, articulate tones that cover anything from snappy cleans to saturated rock tones with ease. The killer sounding Demeter preamp is a nice touch that allows you to easily nudge your overall tone into lead territory while remaining fully in control of just how much boost you want/need (try that with a boost pedal).

Bill Asher has carved out a reputation as one of the best luthiers working today and this Master Series Hollow T-Deluxe makes it very easy to see why - a stunning guitar in every regard! Priced with hardshell case.
