Collings SJ Koa Adirondack w/ Custom Red Purflings

Sold

Sometimes you just have to step back and say, "Wow." This custom, one-off SJ from Collings Guitars was the centerpiece of their 2017 NAMM display. The insanely figured Koa back and sides have been reserved in Collings' shop for quite some time; and this guitar's construction and aesthetic style was conceived and executed by master luthier Bruce Van Wort. The photos should do most of the talking about the supremely handsome customized red purflings, which are not available to order and won't be done again. Sonically, this guitar is as rich and powerful as they come, with incredible projection and a perfect blend of dry clarity and that syrupy sparkle Koa seems to give a guitar. Call us if you'd like to discuss this lovely instrument further. Priced with hard case!
