Martin 00-17 (1934)

If you're in the market for a dynamite small-bodied Martin from the 1930's, this 1934 00-17 provides an excellent entry point into the Golden Era. The guitar is all-original, except for one tuner button and one bridge pin, with an excellent fret dressing by David Hatchard of New Hampshire. It's crack free, but does sport a few typical knicks and dings associated with age. Mahogany top, back, sides & neck, and Brazilian Rosewood fretboard and bridge. Bar frets & ebony neck reinforcement. 1 3/4" nut width, 24.9" SL. Exceptionally lightweight, and exceptionally full-sounding for an all-mahogany guitar, it's a slam-dunk in the tone department for all fingerpicking styles and traditional/roots music. Priced with modern hard case.
