Klon Centaur (Silver)

No longer available

The legendary Klon Centaur. For the uninitiated, this is one of - if not the - most legendary and sought-after pedals of all time.

Lauded for its ability to add a certain, hard to define 'magic' to your tone, the Klon imparts gorgeous mids, a slight compression, and plenty of volume....everything simply sounds bigger, fuller, and cuts brilliantly through the mix. It really excels at rehearsal/stage volumes and is meant to be run in front of an on the verge of breakup amp. It's the kind of pedal that once you turn it on, you won't want to turn it off. Countless players swear by the Klon's ability to sweeten their tone: Nels Cline, Andy Summers, Warren Haynes, Britt Daniel (Spoon), Bill Janovitz (Buffalo Tom)...the list of wide-ranging players is truly endless.

A remarkable pedal that has spawned dozens of "Klones" for good reason. As good as the copies can be, nothing beats the real deal. Again, hard to pinpoint that magic quality, but these out-of-production original ones have it in a way that leave the imitators close, but not quite there.

Condition: Very good (slight pitting in the chrome along with normal / typical marks in the finish), no functional issues, includes power adaptor and original paperwork, includes non-original box.

No trades please.
